Covid19 relief fund for FEFSI: Kudos Aishwarya Rajesh!
Telugu actor Brahmaji recently expressed his disappointment on leading Tollywood actresses who failed to donate for the relief fund of the daily wagers in the Telugu film industry, and he appreciated Lavanya Tripathi who donated one lakh for the noble cause.
The situation remains the same in Kollywood. Aishwarya Rajesh is the only contemporary actress who donated one lakh for the FEFSI workers. Among the seniors, Sripriya's family donated 30 lakh rupees towards Chief Minister and Prime Minister relief fund.
Industry insider murmurs that these leading actresses from Mumbai and other states charge lakhs for the hairdressers, makeup assistant from producers but when the industry struggles, they don't care to donate a few thousand from their own pocket for the struggling workers. The industry folks also appreciated Aishwarya Rajesh, the Tamil ponnu for her large-hearted nature although her remuneration is way lesser than the so-called leading heroines.
